Enjoy a night of great entertainment with your whole family

"Where else could we have gone in San Diego - or anywhere for that matter - for a similar experience?"
   - Mike Stubblefield, Concert Guest
I love telling stories, and I love playing music, many of my programs include music, both musical interludes between the stories and music within the stories themselves.

Stories and music are important, not just for young kids, but for kids of all ages.
They give us the obvious: entertainment, better language skills, and teach us about new cultures and ideas, but they also increase attention span, attention to detail, teach us about courage and compassion, and encourage enthusiasm.

Here's a small sampling of the programs I offer. Many more are available, including custom programs to suit holidays, themes, and events. My shows are suitable for all venues from pre-schools to concert halls.

2012 Summer Reading Program - Les Voyages Fantastique

Dream big with fantastic tales of whimsical adventure in far-away places told first-person in the style of Baron Munchausen.
Join me and my fantastic companions - the fastest man in the world, the strongest man in the world, The sharpest of eye and keenest of ear, as we travel from land to land in our great flying ship.

Les Voyages Fantastique works well as a family-style evening of bed-time stories. Have your patrons come in pajamas and settle in for a fun evening of tales that will fill their dreams with fantasy adventures in far-away places.

Serial Programs

With a serial program you get a continuous program over the course of several weeks, or months. I return on a regular schedule advancing the plot in a story so big it can't possibly be told in a single event. Serials give you the best value for your entertainment dollar. Instead of paying full price for a single show, you get as many as a dozen shows, at a reduced rate, and most of my serial programs include a free lecture about the creation of the program itself.

Campfire Programs

Nothing is more fun than sitting around a campfire, singing songs and telling stories. Campfires are my speciality, from the time I light the fire with flint and steel to the slow burning embers of our final song, it you'll be entertained the same way people have been entertained for thousands of years.

Sing-Alongs

Everybody loves sing-alongs, from pre-schoolers to adults, catchy tunes with rousing refrains that we all know and love.

Spooky Stories

Classic American entertainment, spookies are my favorite stories to tell, and they're not just for October anymore. My programs include funny stories for all ages, from kindergarteners through grown-ups, and truly scary stories that require the courage of a fifth-grader.

Starry Night Stories

Every culture of man has looked up into the night-sky and created myths and legends about the objects seen there. From the star-crossed lovers of ancient China to adventuring princes of Greece, every star in the sky has a story and a song behind it.

Heroes and Heroines

Beowulf, Perseus, Scheherazade, and Pocahontas, I love to tell great adventure stories of heroes and heroines, legendary and historical.
